The concept of instrumentation using a single mechanical file in reciprocating motion was introduced several years ago by Ghassan Yared. Studies demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of the Reciproc file in the preparation of most canals without creating a glide path and especially in non-surgical endodontic retreatment.

The Reciproc Blue is a heat-treated instrument, being a “2.0 version” of the original Reciproc file, presenting greater resistance to cyclic fatigue and greater flexibility, thus allowing a safer and smoother procedure. The Reciproc Blue file will be presented in this hands-on course, as well as its characteristics and its impact on clinical applications. With the constant evolution in terms of materials and techniques, it is part of our job to know how to select and choose the most advantageous ones and those that guarantee good clinical results.

In this way, Dr. João Meirinhos will present the filling material together with the sealer that allows the sealing of the root canal system in the most stable and biocompatible way possible, thus avoiding recontamination and, consequently, treatment failure.
